It’s been 2 days since Saros hit the shelves and it’s been a whirlwind of love, critical praise, support, and most importantly gamer love. But I wanna take a moment to cut through all the fireworks and acknowledge the gentleman standing in the middle of Selene & Arjun. Our creative director,
@gregorylouden . I cannot stress just what an absolute honour and a privilege it’s been working with and for Greg. From day 1, Greg went out of his way to make sure that not only was Saros the best game it could possibly be, but that the experience working on it was too. From late night FaceTime’s to Helsinki, keeping me updated on how everything was taking shape, to sharing film/game/music recommendations to help me build Arjun, to simple things like messages of encouragement that what we were doing was working. There was even a point where Greg encouraged me to play the game at various stages of development and give notes/impressions to him and the incredibly talented folks at
@housemarque because they really wanted to make sure that the “gamers” were gonna love how it felt. He didn’t make me feel like the lead of the next HouseMarque game, he made me feel like a fellow dev, and the head of the acting department. Always available for feedback, advice, help, and insuring I had EVERYTHING possible to do the best job I could. Greg is special, and was one of the biggest reasons I cherish Saros and the experience of working on it. Thank you, brother. You’ve been the kind of collaborator people only get to dream of having. Congratulations to you and everyone at Housemarque on the success/launch of Saros ❤️
