My full national costume performance, a tribute to mama Alice Mulenga Lenshina whom I consider a heroine who began the movement to resist colonialism in Northern Rhodesia present day Zambia in Muchinga Chinsali district. I questioned why her story was never told the right way and it sparks my curiosity, what if we heard from her or one of her followers, would we learn something different about her ?

Being transparent about how I come up with my outfits is a deliberate choice all in an effort to change the mindset we have towards how we consume fashion. Have you ever heard of SDG 12 ? Well that where my advocacy lies and to me, being a title holder means an opportunity to be a young leader. My goal is to be a positive influence and shedding more light on the concept of sustainable fashion is a starting point hence the choice to enter the Big 5 pageant.
