Last night was bonkers. Most people paid of any show I’ve ever done at the house. I don’t say that because metrics or numbers actually matter, but just to highlight the insane come up of FWHC over the last several years. X-FORCE is the type of band I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid and I appreciate anyone who supports it. Failure Drill "Primitive" (Boston Strangler Cover) @ Howdy KCMO. I love this cover and I woulda been sad to snip it up - so Im gonna post some of their originals in another reel - this one was too cohesive to not show. Shot in black and white - the color palate i conjured is super fitting - i almost let it go the whole set like this but I already put a bunch of labor into the other tones in the recent edit. Anyway! This band rips so hard. Ian's gruff barked vocals is a favorite vocal style of mine. 86 MENTALITY meets Chris Dodge from spazz... hell yeah - also the long "bark" in this sing makes me a happy man. Love the metal elements Failure Drill has - this band is a lot a lot more metallic than a lot of other powerviolence bands and it makes me want to run through walls. RD-05 - Stomach - To The Positive Youth This was a really fun release. @stomachdoom mentioned he was working on this for a while and I just assumed that his own label, LSOH, would put this out. Instead he asked if I’d be interested and it wasn’t even a question. 8 straight edge covers through the room/sludge lens that only John could pull off??? Say less We did 50 of these and they sold out (and over sold, sorry) in less than an hour. A truly special release for many reasons but mostly because it was yet another opportunity to work with and support my best friend 🌹. Stomach released an incredible record in July on @hibernationrelease (check it out) and knowing John, more Stomach material is on the way in 2026. #ragedeposit #stomachdoom #straightedge

RD-04 - Colossal Man - On The Prowl By this time I had already figured out how to work through some of the kinks from the previous releases. I had reached out to @greyxgordon mentioning that’d I’d love to put something out for CM at some point. It just so happened they were sitting on a release and I was able to quickly put this one in motion to release. This was my first release that wasn’t a band I was in or a KCHC act so I was excited to put out “On The Prowl” by @colossalmanhc ahead of a run they were doing and a new release they were working on. No question my most seamless release and the first that sold out within a few hours. CM embody some of my favorite kind of hc and it was evident to many that supported this release. Plus how can you not get stoked seeing Spoiler artwork?? Expect more from them in 2026 and continued Fort Wayne x Rage Deposit releases. #ragedeposit #colossalman #spoilerart

RD-03 - Failure Drill - Visions of War I knew when I did this label that I absolutely had to put out physical copies of this release. I believe this was recorded in 2024 and it blew me away. So I was stoked when they agreed. We did two versions out of 50. This release along with the Reality’s Demise demo were sent off basically at the same time. And due to unforeseen issues with the tape company we were working with, it took almost 3 months to get physical copies in. Needless to say I started working with another company shortly after. This is truly a special band and I hope they write more in 2026 and play out more in 2026. One of the best bands going who also carry the KCHC flag with pride. Copies still available. RD-02 - Reality’s Demise - Demo This ended up being my second release after the @spinecrew cassingle. This one turned into a bit of a headache. I sent this off in February to have in time for our second show in April in Seattle for What We Like Fest. By mid-March it was clear I wasn’t getting this back in time for the fest. We ended up self dubbing 30 tapes (see the right) for the show. But we had issues with the j-card and insert so James was able to re-spec the Jcard and included an insert which features our first shirt design on one side and the lyrics on the other. The version on the left side is the “pro” version but really just features the sticker print on the tape and a much nicer version of the Jcard. These copies ended up being 70 copies. We ended up playing two gigs this year. Will we play more next year?? Will the 7 inch come out??? Who knows. Time will tell. A few copies left in story. Link in bio! #ragedeposit #realitysdemise

2025 saw 4 new releases for Rage Deposit. I just wanted to take a second and thank everyone who has supported the label and for the bands for entrusting me with getting physical copies of their music out there. Special thank you to @convulserecords for facilitating fulfillment on these as well. I have two releases set up for 2026, possibly a showcase in Kansas City, and it could be the year we start mixing in vinyl.
