Hey Bay Area fam,
As many of you know, I’m one of the local artists who works behind the counter at Modern Mouse in Alameda.
While there has been a good uptick in business, and some positive improvements all around the shop, things are still in a very dire position. Despite our best efforts to spread the word, and get more foot traffic into the shop, we are currently fighting every single day to avoid closing our doors for good. I've been helping add as much unique fun items as I can into the shop, Magpie has recently brought in Pokémon cards to sell, Angel has been killing it on social media, Madz has been our amazing artwork extraordinaire for our flyers/marketing, and our sweet Dani has been immensely helpful covering shifts, but we've recently even had to cut back their hours just to get by.
We know things are tight for everyone right now, but if you’ve ever found a perfect gift here, felt inspired by our local artists, or just loved the vibe of the shop, now is the time we need you most.
