We are 8 Billion Stories, a cinematic documentary series dedicated to capturing the raw, real, and powerful stories of everyday people. Each episode preserves a moment in someone’s life: a message to look back on, a legacy to leave behind, or a lifeline for someone walking the same path you once did. We’ve already filmed four episodes and are now searching for our fifth storyteller to complete Season 1. Our main team operates from Houston, Texas, with an additional temporary team in the Netherlands. Every story we produce is crafted into: -Short-form clips for social media -A cinematic trailer -A full, official episode -Behind-the-scenes content All of this will be featured across our social platforms and YouTube. At that point in the interview, I looked calm. But the days leading up to it were anything but. They were heavy emotionally, mentally, spiritually. I questioned myself so many times. I didn’t know if I had the strength to go through with it. Even the night before, I lay awake wondering… Am I really ready to share this part of my life? Am I doing the right thing? I was scared. I had doubts. But I showed up anyway. Because if my story reaches just one person, if it helps someone feel less alone, gives them a little hope, or reminds them they’re stronger than they think then every tear, every sleepless night, every moment of fear… was worth it.
