💚 Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 💚 Continuing this year's Action theme, movement is a great way to boost your mood, build confidence, and help manage stress. It doesn’t have to be intense or time-consuming- a short walk, stretching or yoga, or even tackling household tasks like a deep clean all count. The key is finding something you enjoy and building it into your routine. Every bit of movement matters — and taking that first step can make a real difference to your mental wellbeing. .uk has lots more useful tips and advice like this if you want to know more. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek2026 #MentalHealthAwareness #MentalHealth #SelfCare

RAF Odiham was pleased to welcome Commander Airbases, Air Commodore Blackwell OBE RAF, for a Station visit on 7 May 26. The visit provided an opportunity for Air Cdre Blackwell to engage with personnel across a range of areas, gaining valuable insight into day-to-day operations and the lived experience at RAF Odiham, with a particular focus on infrastructure and the wellbeing of our people. The Air Cdre toured key areas of the Station, including the Military Working Dog Section and the Junior Ranks Mess refurbishment project. These engagements highlighted the continued investment in both capability and living conditions, ensuring RAF Odiham remains a place where people can thrive professionally and personally. The day ended with an Honours and Awards ceremony, where station personnel were formally recognised for their dedication and achievements- an important moment celebrating the professionalism and commitment that underpin the Chinook Force. Balancing operational delivery with continued improvements to the lived experience remains a clear priority, supported by senior leadership. #RAF #RAFOdiham #ChinookForce #PeopleFirst #ServiceLife

⚓ The Fleet Air Arm Association came to RAF Odiham for a memorable visit, flying in for the occasion in 19 light aircraft. Veterans, serving personnel and association members came together to share experiences, celebrate a shared aviation heritage and strengthen connections across the rotary wing community. The visit reinforced the Association’s continued support- particularly their contribution to RAF Odiham Families Day each year. #RAFOdiham #ChinookForce #AviationHeritage #Veterans #MilitaryAviation

18(B) Sqn conducted field-based training at Salisbury Plain Training Area, delivering air manoeuvre and support in collaboration with the @britisharmy . Personnel worked from temporary setups and mobile operating locations, replicating the conditions expected on operations. By training in these conditions, personnel build the skills, confidence and adaptability needed to deploy and operate effectively away from their home base. #RAFOdiham #Chinook #18Sqn #JointForce #CapableTrustedReady
