Voci alla finestra – Lo Spazio Liminale tra Memoria e Oblio Il mio progetto della mostra PASSAGGI, Voci alla finestra si configura come uno spazio liminale tra memoria e oblio. Affiorano confini sottili — tra scomparsa e nascita, presenza e assenza, immagine e parola, silenzio e suono — che si trasformano in uno spazio in continuo movimento, aprendo nuove finestre di comprensione e introspezione. Ripensando alla mia vita, riconosco molti ricordi legati alle persone che ho amato e, inevitabilmente, anche momenti di separazione.
Guardando al futuro, immagino che quei ricordi continueranno a crescere e che, ancora una volta, arriverà il momento dell’addio.
Credo che questo tempo che chiamiamo “adesso” sia uno spazio delicato e fragile, sospeso tra ciò che rimane nella memoria e ciò che lentamente scivola nell’oblio.

Nel lavoro di 𝐀𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐨 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐤𝐢 la forma non viene fissata, ma attraversata. Nella serie 𝐌𝐢𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐢, il 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐞 assorbe l’immagine in modo irregolare, lasciando emergere una 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐳𝐚 mutevole, costruita per depositi successivi. La forma è sempre il risultato di un 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨, mai di un gesto definitivo, e le tracce 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢. Anche nel lavoro di 𝐅𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢 la materia è governata dal 𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨. La trasformazione avviene per 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞, 𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐨 e 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚, senza effetti superflui: gli elementi 𝐧𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐢 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐨, ma 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢, perché la forma finale conserva le 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨. Arte e cucina condividono lo stesso gesto: attenzione alla materia, misura, tempo lento. Procedono affiancate, nel rispetto del ritmo della stagione. Nel lavoro di Asako Hishiki, il segno è trattenuto e leggero. Presenze sospese emergono dalla materia senza imporsi, attraversate da piccole tracce di luce. No excuses needed. Like the pendulum of a metronome,
time is marked—tick, tick. I stop it with my own index finger,
and then it starts moving again. A continuous motion,
a simulacrum of memory. Beyond memory. Tomorrow, more than today,
let us be happier,

poi riprende a muoversi. Un movimento che perdura,

“Mists That Swallow Dreams” This work explores the fragile nature of dreams that slowly dissolve and disappear with the passage of time.
After the mist clears, a world of dawn-tinged, bluish-violet light emerges only for an instant, just before daybreak. Drawing upon this fleeting chromatic moment, the piece evokes the sensation of standing at the threshold between the realm of the dead and the world of the living. Within transience itself, the work suggests the quiet emergence of new dreams—born once again from fragility.

Located in a corner of the Brera district, where historic buildings stand side by side, @amy.d_gallery offers a serene white space. The fabric was buried in the soil of a site where a 60-year-old house had been demolished and dyed by the earth itself. Images of actual marks and traces once left on the building were photographed and printed onto the cloth. The title, How have you been?, is a question addressed to the house that no longer exists—like a dialogue with an absent presence, one that offers no reply. Through the stains of soil and the printed remnants of the building, this work attempts to draw the time and atmosphere that once existed there back into the present.

In Japan, this often takes the form of a paper amulet, believed to carry human intentions and preserve traces of time and memory. Through the act of entrusting one’s thoughts to an object, its original material logic and practical function are displaced, and it becomes something that can no longer be defined as a mere “thing.” For several years, I have developed an artistic practice that expands the expressive potential of fabric by subjecting it to specific actions—such as wearing, wrapping, and binding—capturing the fleeting expressions that emerge at the extension of these gestures. Talisman is a work that places the act of prayer (memory) upon fabric. It proposes both a further expansion of the material’s possibilities and a new mode of engaging with cloth. This piece marks the first work in which I began a new approach to fabric through a newly articulated conceptual framework.

Dal testo critico di @raffynob [...] Il termine latino, scelto dall'artista giapponese Yuji Mizuta(1976), non indica un'immagine illusoria, ma ciò che persiste in stato frammentario quando l'origine della stessa e' già dissolta........ Nella mostra, simulacrum, indica la modalità con cui la memoria personale riaffiora non come ritorno all'integrità originaria, ma come sopravvivenza in forma alterata di ciò che non resiste, ma persiste. In questo caso la categoria giapponese del mujo, l'impermanenza o eterna mutabilità, si innesta come base concettuale per definire la condizione naturale di tutte le cose e , in ultima analisi, della memoria stessa. Mizuta intende il simulacro come innesco di un processo:" Non è una mera copia, ma un principio attivatore in cui gli altri osservano un oggetto o una persona e generano nuove immagini da quella percezione.Ogni sovrapposizione visiva è una trasformazione sottile, eppure per me ogni forma è firma originale." In a silence where sound, wind, and even time itself seem to halt,
only the faint impulse of not wanting to feel drifts to the surface like a pale shadow. Impermanence is the recognition that all things are in constant flux.
Yet this unending repetition may itself be another form of continuity. In the quiet cycle of vanishing and arising, of loss and renewal,
sorrow is never alone—

In the instant when the clouds part and light spills through,
the formless reveals itself for just a fleeting moment. A tremor of the heart—ungraspable like mist,
fading like a dream.
It is surely there, yet the moment you try to hold it,
the boundary dissolves.
This work seeks to capture that fragile moment. The viewer stands in the threshold between light and shadow,

Layered within them are family memories—such as wedding photographs of myself and my husband’s parents—gently placed one over another, quietly reweaving the world of the past and allowing it to seep into the work.
These quotations and remnants of memory act as metaphors, softly stirring the viewer’s inner, collective unconscious and awakening what lies dormant within. Like rising incense smoke, these memories carry a subtle sense of bodily presence. As viewers encounter these traces, their own memories also begin to surface, giving rise to images that resonate quietly within them.
