I got the opportunity to sit down opposite @brittney_saunders through @commbank and tell her about Rafferty’s Shoes.
I got to tell her why I care so much about children’s feet.
Why foot health matters so much.
Especially for kids whose feet are still growing.
And the funny thing is, it didn’t really hit me until I sat in the Uber that morning.😅
Up until that moment, I was just in normal life chaos.
School drop-off.
Daycare bags.
Lunches packed.
Kids being sick.
Running a business.
Working full-time.
Bla bla bla you get the drill
As a first-generation migrant raising a family here, without a huge village around us, life can feel like you’re constantly moving from one thing to the next. I didn’t really get to process what this opportunity meant.
Even that morning, I was still just making sure everyone got out the door.
Then I sat in the Uber and thought…Wait. Im going to meet Brittany Saunders.🤯
Im going to talk about this tiny business I started. I wish I had someone there with me to capture more behind-the-scenes moments.But I also made the decision to put my phone away and be present.
And I’m glad I did.
For a brand as new as Rafferty’s, this felt really special. Not because it means we’ve made it.
We haven’t. We’re still at the very beginning. But because it reminded me that this thing I care so deeply about is starting to reach people.
