4 years ago I put @oprah hosting her talkshow on my vision board, knowing that one day I want to create and host mine too, to highlight stories of courage & open a safe space for deeper connections to flourish.

my thoughts about compliments:
🫱🏽🫲🏼 when we have one, say it!! I feel like giving sincere compliments make the world a kinder place
🥹 overtime learn how to pay more nuanced/ detailed compliments — I.e. wow, you have this ability to ask insightful questions even when the topic is unfamiliar
You do so by:
- making a specific observation
- why that’s impressive to you (that’s the compliment)
- (if applicable) share how it makes you feel

Apparently @raematrix says I have a DJ voice. So I’m putting it to good use in my first ever commentary reel! 😄
But in all seriousness, that’s exactly why I also attended her session with @iamgraceyeo on how to speak and sell effortlessly. Recognising the challenges I face as a wealth consultant, I seek to constantly improve myself and run alongside fellow salespeople to become better at our craft!
It’s never too late to own your voice and nail that sale, but it also takes a lot of moulding to get there! Thank you Rae and Grace for teaching us these valuable lessons!
