My attention arrested by the ever worsening horrors and evil campaign of ethnic cleansing perpetrated by Israel on the entire population of Palestine, as well as the complicity of those powers that encourage and arm it.
At the same time, on the beauty of the tulips.
Like so many people all over the planet in these evil times, I inhabit two worlds. I live a life of privilege, freedom and comfort here in Western Canada, and I enjoy the delicate beauty of early spring daffodils, but at the same time my heart is feeling bruised and broken by news of the continued oppression, persecution and slaughter of innocents in Gaza and the erosion of human rights for so many who live in the US and all over this hurting world.
Thank you to everyone who so generous supported my first online art auction! These paintings have new homes in Canada and France. Top bids were $1300 each which enabled me to make a $ 2600 CD donation to support life-saving relief work in Gaza. 🙏❤️🙏
