Today marks a change for what has been almost 9 years in the making. From what started in a lounge in Mt Wellington by two lads in their early 20’s has evolved and grown into what is Radlab.
Radlab set out to be a modern, fun, and energetic solution to what was production and content 10 years ago. With the rise of fast-growing social media and the online landscape, we built Radlab to meet the market's demand for fast-paced, well-shot, quick-turnaround content.
We would like to celebrate everything that Radlab has become and we couldn’t be prouder of what we have built. Radlab has delivered on all our original business goals and more. But as with all good things that reach their potential, we have decided it is time to evolve.
Today, we’re publicly announcing the closure of Radlab Ltd. Both of us have decided that the next steps in our lives are to pursue different ventures. We still remain good friends, but as times and business change, so do our lifestyles and commitments. We would both like to thank everyone for their commitment and support for Radlab over the years; we could not have done any of this without you all.
Today comes with celebration and announces the official opening of Radical NZ Ltd, which has been running behind the scenes for the last month as we tidy the logistics in the background.. Radical, directed by Jared Donkin and supported by the core team behind Radlab, is excited about this evolution and the future ahead. Radical continues on from what Radlab had built; we plan to be bolder, excel in creativity, and be even more competitive than ever in the changing climate.

Karl is moving on to fully focus on his work as a Director of Photography. This shift allows him to dedicate more time to crafting visual stories and collaborating on projects that inspire him. Moving forward, he will be offering video production services as a freelancer (creative, shooting, post production and photography), and is excited to work with new and familiar faces on upcoming projects.
