July and August Camp Options for ages 8-13 Kids love clay! Looking for a creative outlet for your kiddo? Let our fun, skilled and caring instructors be their guide and spark their creativity. Radius summer camps are all about hands-on making, a little messy magic, and building real skills along the way. This camp is less “keep them busy” and more about watching your kiddos light up when they realize what they can make. Our camps are structured for learning, with dedicated time on the wheel and sculpting, so kids get to really sink into the process. Our experienced instructors bring the perfect mix of playful energy and thoughtful guidance, helping each young artist feel confident, capable, and excited to keep creating. Expect muddy hands, big ideas, and pieces they’re genuinely proud of.

Radius BIPOC Clay Class scholarship applications are always open to apply. Fully funded 5 & 10 week classes are awarded each class session. We believe that access to art spaces and creative opportunities should be equitable, inclusive, and joyfully community-centered. Each class session we give out at least 2 full-tuition scholarships for our 5 and 10-week clay classes. The application is ongoing so you can apply up to 4 times per year - see the details on our website for more detailed timelines. If you’re someone who believes in accessible art education, consider contributing or spreading the word. Every little bit helps keep this program going strong.

Then swipe for a gaggle of funky friends. Come be a part of the Radius Shelfie game and make some unqiue pieces of your own this season, we'd love to see your face in the studio and your work on the shelves.

WIP👹 It’s been slow and steady on this one but all the pieces are through the bisque! Now to glaze , fire again, and assemble! This beast will get fired up to cone 10 in our gas kiln @radiusartstudio and then head, long horns, wings, and claws will be adhered with a 2 part epoxy. Already sad about how much it’s gonna shrink but it should still stand over 3 feet off the pedestal. Stay tuned!

Nikki @niktrain If you feel like coming to see this creative community space, we are open to the public - for our gallery hallway and retail space - four days a week! Come on by for a look around! We'd love to see you. Tuesdays 1-5 pm Fridays 4-8 pm Saturdays 1-5 pm Sundays 10 am-2 pm

Additional time slot on June 7th just added by popular demand! @jfaulk leads this fun, super approachable one-day workshop. Since it only happens about once a year, we’ve timed it just right so your handmade bowl will be ready during peak berry picking season! Be the talk of the orchard, farmers market, or your backyard harvest… collecting those juicy gems in a bowl you made yourself just hits different. Bring a friend and make a day of it now, then gather berries together all summer long. Full circle, full flavor, full clay magic. #berrybowl #radiusartstudio #clayclass #ceramics #portlandart

We've been really enjoying seeing our wonderful new studio member Efrain's work @verastudioco moving through the studio Lately! His style is a fusion of pop culture from his love of cartoons and cultural influence from his upbringing in Mexico. These influences diverge in style that is so uniquely "Efrain." Give his profile a peek, and enjoy a sensory delight!
