Sisters Akousmatica are currently fixing a SEA HAG boat hub for pirate radio, art workshops for kids and adults, sailing lessons and floating gatherings with carpenter, sculptor and New Zealander boat builder Dan Tucker @dansculpture and a team of wonderful volunteers. This vessel has been donated by @huktooey Jack Mitchell, artist and researcher with Whadjuk/Balladong Noongar heritage.
The goal is to make the Stardrift Hartley 28 foot float radio waves on sea hag waves by February 2025. Community driven. Pirate radio boat. Art events boat. Love boat. Resting boat. Education boat. Picnic boat. Thinking boat. You can help us care for that vessel to platform some coming skills sharing and fun activities that you can be part of, from afar or locally, on air or on site!
Any resources will help.
We will update every day until it's launched, then, come on board!🖇️

I am thrilled to announce that this Sunday, September 8, Julia Drouhin will be my guest on Imitating A Nightingale, playing a selection of her music.
Julia Drouhin (she/her, VK7HAG) amplifies sound streams that reveal friction in sociality via radioscape, installation, gathering or collaborative performance.
Julia completed her PhD in the art of walking and broadcast impact in public space at Paris 8, France in 2011, before living in lutruwita/Tasmania (Australia), where she currently works with artists living with disabilities and youth in local communities.
Tune in to 3CR 855am from 6-7 pm this Sunday to listen to the show. You can also catch the broadcast online @ .au/imitatinganightingale afterwards.
