One week ago we said farewell to our beautiful 16 year old Molly the dog. I had 10 lucky years with the best doggy in the world. There was never GB and I without you Molly girl! You were a package deal and I fell in love with you both. You moved house with us many times, came on holidays waited with excitement for your human siblings and were so gentle and patient with them as they played with you and on you. You were patient with me as I dressed you up and insisted you were in every family photo often in uncomfortable but insta worthy positions... You got us through long covid lock down days including being a dog influencer and cheering everyone up with Molly's Iso wisdom. You sat by my side as I went freelance and worked in the sun on the deck, you caught my tears on tough days and meditated with me and snuggled me day and night whenever you got the chance. You loved to cuddle and be close always right till the end with one paw touching one of us as much as you could. That's how you left this world, with your pack, your family, the Butlers, who adored you. Run free now without pain and chase birds over the rainbow. We love you Molly RIP 5 May 26.
We won! The @newspressaustralia "Driving Women Forward" award for a second year! This one is for all of you, our incredible national community reaching almost 17,000 of you across our channels. You who join us in making the auto industry an industry of choice for females!
We thank our corporate members and event partners, without whom none of this is possible. We are indeed stronger together!
Some other amazing women were nominated and/or won awards across the night and we feature some of this talent here!

12 hours in Adelaide… what are you hitting first? We checked into @hotelindigoadelaide - elite location, all the local tips - not to mention the super cool Merrymaker Rooftop Bar right on top 🙌 @merrymaker_rooftopbar #partnership
WinA went to Canberra.. but WHY? Because there is a skills shortage crisis
👉🏼 Women make up 0.82% of motor mechanics and 2.6% in automotive tradespeople.
👉🏼 Just 4.5% of auto apprenticeships are female with apprenticeships on a long term decline.
There are 40,000+ unfilled roles and the industry is only talking to half the population.
So we went to Parliament with @mtansw to talk to
💫Minister for skills and training @andrewgilesmp
💫Minister for Women & Finance Katy Gallagher Senior Advisor Amy Haddad
💫 @senatortammytyrrell
💫 Mr @danrepacholi MP Chief of Staff Chad Griffiths
about how WinA can help.. because we can, and we will!
Watch this space.
WinA just landed in Parliament 🤯 holy moly.. things are getting REAL. Real change, real impact. People in high places are listening to what we have to say about skill shortages and female representation in automotive 💪🏼😎 thank you for your help @mtansw 💫 LETS GOOO 🌍
WOW 💫 Adelaide.. you welcomed us with open arms 🥹 200 seats SOLD OUT, for our first time in South Aus! So many gorgeous photos to come, this was just a taste of our incredible day!
Can I sum up one of the best weeks in under 1 min reel? No! But here's a snapshot anyway! Hands down my fav @ausgp because of the weather, the people I've met and the people I know that I had the pleasure of their company each day, the side events, the main events, Supercars, F1, meeting drivers and team bosses from both, the step up Albert Park has taken in infrastructure and moves to make the whole event smoother (except for exiting late - long story!!) and lastly for the smile that didn't leave my face.
I'm so grateful to call this week 'work' when it felt like non-stop fun! Special thanks to @katepeckme - love doing what we do with @womeninautomotive together and seeing the leaps and bounds and recognition we are making and special thanks to @margot_moments and @discostu8864 for housing me, feeding me, uber driving me everywhere and spoiling me. Love my week with you both each year!
Now back to reality, but I'll be reliving this past week for the next 360 odd days!
