Sometimes it feels like a long way to go and we get a little dizzy and out of breath and wow my legs are burnin and my heart my heart my heart. But then we look back and isn’t it beautiful? And we stop and we feel and we breathe and our hearts our hearts our hearts. Look at all the lights that were there along the way. Let’s keep going, shall we? One step at a time 💜

What a challenging, fun, vulnerable, and beautiful experience. Between in Between was a 7 month labor of love, but really more like the culmination of years of hard work from every angle. Grateful for these characters I got to play (thank you Amy for your trust) and the people I got to play with. We had such a brilliant team. I was challenged by them and grew because of them. And now I know. Working with fake blood is, well. Complicated. (See pics of hanging costumes. Not featured: the chunks of hair that got pulled out during our big fight 😂). I was also so tired one night that I took a picture of my bed I was so excited to sleep. That made it in here too. Delulu Rach. One thing I know for sure: there is no “doing the thing” without the love and support of your people. I get teary thinking about the ways mine showed up during this process. Anywhere from donating to attending a show to making dinner when I had literally no time, or hopping on stage after the show to help rake leaves. The texts of cheer and understanding that this was indeed a crazy season meant the world, too. Thank you 💜 I could go on. But I won’t. Cheers 🥂🍂🍁

“Let it change you, child, and don’t be afraid.” At its core, Between in Between asks a timely question: Can love truly break generational cycles of destruction, hate, and heartbreak, or are we bound to repeat them?
