A new chapter….
My husband and I have both lived in the same place for 20 years, alone and together. We met where we live, we had our wedding where we live, we raised our children where we live. Now that we’ve reached a new phase of our lives and near watching our boys go to college, it seemed to be the perfect time to move. We are excited to share land with my parents and experience a new type of scenery. If you know me well, I am not a big outdoorsy person. Most of my friends would be shocked to hear that we are moving into the forest. I look at it a bit differently. It’s an adventure that it’s time for me to embrace. I’m ready to appreciate God’s creation within the trees. I may have a bit of a time when it comes to bugs but I want to just let go of my fears and do something new. Thank you God for this opportunity. I will miss the last chapter and the place I loved for so long. I’m excited for the future! In a few weeks, it’s go time! 🪵🚜🪓
This is 44…I have to say, this has probably been the most epic year so far!! Turning 40 was so much fun but I didn’t look or feel my best. I guess God decided this was the year that I’d figure things out. I woke up feeling so grateful and extremely fulfilled. I still have many areas of improvement to focus on this year but for now I’m just feeling incredibly blessed! ❤️

So for a minute, we thought God wanted us to sell this little piece of Heaven that we have tucked away in Cape Coral, Florida. On Thursday, God said, “Surprise! I want you to keep it!” It was sad when we thought it was sold…all that hard work just handed to another investor. The thought of having the responsibility off of our plate felt reassuring but my heart hurt when I thought back to the Fall of 2024 when God nudged us to take the risk and He seemed to open all the doors and make it perfect for our guests. Everyone who stayed over the past 2 years loved it!
So here goes nothing…we fired our property management company and I’m giving it a go myself! Well not really, my beautiful friend @julie.hue.80 is helping me from Cape Coral!
