"Second day of 2026 Pine Mtn Hillclimb, 6th run of the weekend. Official timing had issues. I have been focusing on improving shifting and finally it mostly came together while sorting out my medical issues for the past 2 years. Thankfully I remembered how to drive as this run shaved 2.5 seconds off my previous best from 2024. Not bad for not driving the car on a hill in 1.5 years. SoloStorm said 107.5 but I errantly blocked the Road-Keeper GPS reception with my 3am designed waterproof camera mount so I can't back that up with additional data. DOH!! So 108.439 seconds will have to do. I swear it is more intense driving than watching the video."

"So the truth had to come out at some point!
Yes we took a P1 in class at yesterday’s Northeast GT (NEGT) series race, but the truth was we wanted to give up, pack it in, and multiple times said “this isn’t worth it, we are coming in. This is real footage, unedited from the Race-keeper video camera.
Truth is we pushed on, we are racers, we don’t give up. We had a small gap at the bottom of the windshield that we could see through… barely. More importantly we had a level of TRUST that everyone else on track was being just as cautious and was just as scared as we were. After all this really is “real clean racing” in the Northeast GT series. We also had TRUST in the flaggers at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park that they would warn us of trouble ahead along with the flagtronics system we had more visibility to concerns ahead than ever. If you want to race on track in a series that has invested in a culture of safe racing and you are here to race and push your comfort zone but in a respectful way… well then this is your series.

"We are excited to report that the NDI team got back on track after this scary incident coming onto the front straight at @thompsonspeedway Motorsports Park in last nights round 2 of the Northeast GT series. Here is the Race Keeper video we captured... notice the lack of visibility we had... This is actually better quality than we could see as this Race-Keeper Trivinci camera system did a great job making it actually look better than it was! We hope the damage wasn't to bad NDI and that they will get the car back to 100% soon, they are great competition and keep us on our toes at every event, it wouldn't be the same without them!
Big Thanks to @hoosiertireeast as well, in these crazy conditions with no defroster we still managed the FTD (Fastest Time of the Day) for the entire field of racers!"

The Fokker D.VII was a premier German WWI biplane fighter, known for exceptional performance, maneuverability, and docile handling, entering service in May 1918. Designed by Reinhold Platz, its ability to "hang on its propeller" and combat effectiveness led to over 3,300 being produced. Due to its prowess, the Treaty of Versailles specifically demanded all D.VIIs be surrendered.
Performance: Powered primarily by Mercedes or BMW engines, it reached speeds up to 124 mph and operated well at high altitudes, often cited as one of the best fighters of the war.
Design & Maneuverability: Featured thick wings and welded steel tube fuselage, offering superior handling, easy maneuverability for novices, and stability at low speeds.
Armament: Equipped with twin 7.92 mm LMG 08/15 "Spandau" machine guns.Legacy: Post-war, it was flown by numerous nations and is popular for replicas today.

We experienced some minor camera and operator issues during this weekend’s Test & Tune. Unfortunately, the driver/windshield camera setup (user error on my part) only captured two runs, while the roll bar camera recorded all sessions. I’ve saved my two fastest runs overall. The driver/windshield footage includes my first run of the day and my final run, during which I began to experience low fuel and fuel slosh.
These issues will be addressed prior to PE1. I’m very excited to see what the car can do this season with the new brakes and the additional upgrades completed over the winter.
