1,500~ year old cypress swamp right here in North Carolina. This weekend changed my life, I’m so grateful I got to canoe into our campsite, enjoy Spanish moss just two hours from my house, make fires, see a turtle being born , spend time with family, and experience over 10 beaver dams.
It was truly the most magical thing I have ever seen in my life.

Biggest message of April for me is that you CAN do it :) you can do what feels impossible and you are worth it. You can feel your feelings and that doesn’t mean they are permanent. Ever passing. Ever freezing. Ever thawing. You don’t have to hang tight onto them forever but you don’t have to immediately let go. 🧀 okay that’s all my cheese for today
