Northern Vietnam changes how you see the world. The rawness puts things in perspective. Capturing it, is my way of perceiving it. All shots were taken over 2 weeks exploring the following areas. 🇻🇳 Da Nang 🇻🇳 Hoi An 🇻🇳 Ninh Binh 🇻🇳 Hanoi 🇻🇳Ha Giang 🇻🇳 Sapa

The energy at @rajadamnern_stadium is unreal. The music, the atmosphere, the respect, the violence, the tradition. 🥊🇹🇭 This is the first Muay Thai stadium in Thailand and one of the most legendary fight venues in the world. A must do while in Bangkok.

When talking to a monk about meditation, he said, “Everything is meditation.” Eating is meditation. Showering is meditation. Walking is meditation. Paying attention to the way your foot feels on the ground. The way your arm sways next to you when you move. Meditation, he explained, is simply not being on autopilot. It’s being intentional with your attention. Most people think meditation means sitting on the ground with your eyes closed, trying to silence your mind for twenty minutes. But to him, that was just one small doorway into something much bigger. Real meditation is how you live. It’s tasting your food instead of scrolling while you eat. It’s feeling the sun on your skin instead of rushing to the next place. It’s noticing your breath while you walk instead of replaying yesterday or worrying about tomorrow. He said the problem isn’t that our lives are too busy to meditate. The problem is that we’re absent from the moments we’re already in. Walking can be meditation. Working can be meditation. Even washing dishes can be meditation if you’re fully there for it. The practice is simple. Pay attention. Because the moment you truly notice what you’re doing, you’re no longer drifting through life.
