Raani’s Madras Kaapi / South Indian Filter Kaapi is brewed using our medium roasted, single estate coffee sourced from Hulikere Estate.
Hulikere (translates to Tiger Pond) is a historic, 110-year-old coffee plantation located in the Baba Budan Giri Hills of Chikmagalur, Karnataka. The estate is a prominent member of the Kaad Kaapi collective, focusing on rigorous environmental conservation and sustainable “forest coffee” production.
The estate operates under a dense polyculture shade canopy that supports native wildlife, including tigers, leopards, elephants, and Indian bison (Gaur). It is one of the few Indian farms with a Wildlife Friendly certification.
