Little off the trail to follow the remains of the old riverside railroad, whose iron bones rust yet still remain beneath stone and sand. Lumber lazily lounges off the gravel shores. I kick my feet up against the rocks and rest awhile.

Still counting down till the year's end, and as the seconds tick down I don't find myself reflecting on the past year, but on the uncertainty of the year to come.
I'm not sure where I'll end up now, but if all the hiking and side quests have taught me anything, it's to put one foot in front of the other, look up, and take in the view. You might just enjoy yourself.
And that's the last year. And the completion of my program at OC! Thank you everyone who shared this hair tearing experience with me and prevented me from going completely bald from the stress!

Expired film is a different kind of experience. It's almost as though my camera is trying to remember a memory it once had and is barely able to articulate it.
These came out looking like faded brochures or magazines forgotten and found in the back crevices of my grandpa's cabinet.
