Everything from the fantastic kitchen team, the picturesque farm, the cutest bakery and the incredibly kind farmers is honestly just perfect! I genuinely loved every single minute here and I am honestly still in awe of how everything about the farm and what goes on there is just undeniably beautiful! Thankyou to @caidikennedy@_forthehungryboy@chefstephx@malsbakes_@chefbiancasedgwick for teaching me so much and always making me laugh ❤️ and thankyou to @mount_elsewhere_bakery for introducing me to the fascinating ways of sourdough! I couldn’t thank @meusefarm enough! Next stop, South yeaster! 🥐

What a joy it was to eat the food that was made by people I worked alongside earlier this year! Everything was absolutely lovely from the bright and strong flavours to the lovely service and the best company ever. 💐
La colombe 🕊️
I genuinely don’t have one word that sums up La colombe for me. It was a huge learning experience and my limits were tested every single day. Chaotic, passionate, bittersweet with a few wins sprinkled on between. I’m going to miss my pastry queens forever and I couldn’t have had a better team sticking beside me. I love you all❤️ thankyou to @chef_james_gaag and @brandzwarner for this huge opportunity to be in the best kitchen and thankyou to @motheba_makhetha for being the most patient and loving ever! 💐 next stop Meuse farm 👩🏻🌾

Words genuinely can’t describe the amount of love I have for this place. Thankyou to @foxcroftpastry and @chefdalemouton for this wonderful opportunity and thankyou to @aurynwalton and @georgiesearson for being the best mentors. I appreciate all the love and kindness that was always shown too me and thankyou for trusting me and letting me thrive in the kitchen. It is sad that I am leaving this place, hopefully it won’t be the last time I’m there💐 also thankyou too my fantastic colds team for always uplifting me on the hard days and teaching me so much❤️ I love you all, next stop la colombe 🕊️
NOVEMBER CORDON BLEU EXAM
after a full year of living, eating and breathing silwood, I feel as if I truly did something not just represents what I enjoy cooking but who I am aswell. Throughout the year I found myself caring deeply for ingredients that we use and how to use them to its full potential as well as making sure that they highlight themselves on every plate. The aim of this menu was to make sure that each component was its own star, not lost in translation and I truly believed I achieved that. So cheers to me, cheers to everyone that has supported me and cheers to Mother Earth for simply doing its thing! 🥂
Also a huge thankyou to @floriographysa for providing the elderflowers and all my goodies for my floral arrangement. Everything was perfect and worked so well with my menu! 💐

What an honour it was to be the head chef for such a beautiful tea exam, I am honestly so proud of every single person on this team and i genuinely couldn’t have done it without all these beautiful souls. Thankyou for showing me patience and working so hard to produce such delicious treats. I’m going to miss you group D ❤️
And that’s it, graduated first year! I’m so insanely proud of everybody who put tremendous amounts of effort in to this achievement and I’m proud of myself for making it❤️ I am going to miss you all so deeply, especially my coach house people. I’m a proud coach mommy and I can’t wait too see you all thrive next year 💐
