This post was supposed to go out ages ago. A lot of mixed emotions have come and gone during this period. I wanted to write something from the heart but to be honest I haven’t been able to find the words.
I want to share that I’ve recently moved out of Southampton and gone back home to Essex, bringing my time with TSK to an end.
The first thing I want to say is that I’m insanely grateful for the last three years. They have been full of personal development, growth and happiness. Truly the best years of my life so far. I deeply love the club and the Solent basketball community and that’s why this transition has been and continues to be so incredibly hard.
The relationships I’ve made have become so much more than just being ‘the media guy’. What made my time special is knowing that there is a long list of players, parents, coaches and families that if I was ever in trouble or needed help, I’m willing to bet that they would be there for me. And that means everything to me.
Solent will always have a special place in my heart, and I will always be grateful for the highs and lows.
