Yatta〜! Our fax art project has become a beautiful book!
When I was talking with Lukas about our new art book fair, we discovered that there was also an art fair in Munich the following week, and that both fairs were being held in hotels.
The hotel in Munich has a beautiful fax room, which is no longer used as it once was, but we wanted to do something with it.
This project is an homage to Warhol, Beuys, and Higashiyama. Back in the 80s, they sent art to each other by fax as a message against war.
Both performances in Tokyo and Munich went well, and it was so much fun watching cute drawings slowly come out of the fax machine!
Now we’re having an exhibition at POST to celebrate the project. It’s on until the 28th of December, and we’ll have a reception on the 13th.
Please come see the book and 乾杯しましょう〜!
