Forever love and gratitude to @artscentric for allowing me to help share the beautiful story of the birth of Christ through the Black perspective of Langston Hughes’ Black Nativity. A guy who’s a self taught musician who plays only by ear to be put in a position to musically assist a show that has been beautifully originated for the masses shows me the true definition of God qualifying the unqualified ( 2 Corinthians 3:5). I’ll never forget this experience. It’s only the beginning from here. 🎵🎹 until then

This New Adventure of having an “understudy only” role was humbling, challenging, and beautiful. There’s a whole new understanding of understudies truly being the saving grace, the unsung heroes, the guardians of the proscenium. I’m forever grateful for the experience.

I’ve been teaching with @chesapeakeshakespearecompany for about 7 years now. And I’ve been teaching their summer camps for the last 4. Babygirl joined their summer camp last year. AND THIS WEEK, I was finally able to have her as one of my campers 🥹 can’t even tell you the joy I have right now, to share with her, work with her, guide and teach her. She was amazing ❤️ the best fairy hands down🧚🏾 #prouddad
