An absolute pleasure to announce the release of my Way Back When EP today on Fokuz Recordings.
There is never really any preconceived ideas when I write music. It is very much a go-with-the-flow scenario. As with all things art, some things work out and some things don’t, but there is a certain beauty in the pure serendipity of it all and not knowing how things will pan out.
Im often quietly sad when a project comes to completion as the fun often comes during the journey, rather than the destination.
These pieces hopefully convey my long standing love affair with all things atmospheric and soulful, along with the frantic dancefloor energy that I still enjoy (at my ripe age!).

It’s an absolute privilege to be part of the 10 Years of Goldfat album, set for full release on 5th September 2025.
For this project, I had the joy of collaborating with the incredibly gifted Sofia Gunnarsson, whose voice brought our vision to life. Together we crafted a piece that leans into nostalgia—an echo of memories past—while carrying that unmistakable Goldfat spirit: equal parts melancholic, uplifting, and euphoric. With soaring vocal lines woven into deep, soulful textures, this track feels right at home on a label that has spent the last decade redefining the essence of deep soulful drum & bass.
You’ve already caught glimpses of the journey through the singles that have surfaced over recent months. This release marks the final chapter before the full story is unveiled.
The album itself is a celebration: 10 brand-new tracks, alongside 10 timeless Goldfat classics—a perfect balance of fresh energy and the label’s most iconic moments.
