Kamp David near Lake George NY was an opportunity to show off my Northern capabilities as well as apply for ADK fest. Needless to say I knocked this setup out of the park.
My first La Izquierda is in the books. Galveston and those in it are gorgeous. Super fun fest and I always love an opportunity to take a dip into the ocean.
First year of Couch Camp at Flipside. Shout-out to @thejiminnguyen for helping me hold it down. Also shout out to the random taco vendor that made 400 tacos under our setup. Might level up to couch cult next year....
River Retreat 2025 had a lot more people at my stage than the previous River Revivals because School of Rock came through. I loved seeing all the kiddos come and and their families support them. It was also my first time setting up my 40x20.
I am selling unfettered access to my Texas storage units and everything inside them for $600 a month.
Moving to Vermont has been awesome. I've got a girlfriend I love, a job that's chill AF, and with the experience I've gained by starting my business in Texas, I'm now jumping head first into the NY/NE festival scene with sky high confidence.
All that being said, I have a lot of couches that are just sitting on their asses, not working to pay their own rent. I'm not wanting to give up on Texas but as it stands, this isn't sustainable.
It's hard to find a steady partner who has the passion and strength to slang dem couches around the great state of Texas and coordinating from afar while asking for a percentage at each event has been a difficult undertaking. However, if I were to just give the keys to someone for a monthly rate, they would have access to all of my wares every day of every month at a flat rate. I would still have access during the 4-5 weeks that I visit over the year, but besides that, Mis sofás son tus sofás.
