From thousands of hours to a theatrical cut.
In 2021, I got a call from Justin Staple to join “In Whose Name”, helping log, organize, and cut down an enormous archive of footage—entirely shot by Nico, largely on iPhone—into a story that slowly revealed itself over years. Watching the film evolve—from an expansive six-hour cut, to three hours, and ultimately to its final theatrical form—was a rare and rigorous process.
Huge respect to Nico, Justin, Jack, Shy, and all the guys for bringing this across the finish line.
Grateful to be part of this journey as 1st Assistant Editor.
