Two women inadvertently become spectators (and commentators) to a man’s phone conversations as he struggles to find a ride home. Tomorrow, March 13, the 12 selected projects from @quickieslu will premiere as part of the @luxfilmfest After a first selection of the idea and a second one of the script, Jiyun and I had the chance to develop this project together. It’s been a lot of work, a lot of improvisation, and a lot of learning along the way. We’re very grateful for the opportunity, and it has definitely motivated us to keep making (and hopefully finishing) more projects in the future! Team Spada & Juric proudly announce that we have finished shooting our second film, titled Fences. We spent the end of July bringing this story to life and we are now wrapping things up in the editing room. This film was only possible thanks to the support of @filmreakter and the @quickieslu program, and we’re very grateful for their trust and encouragement. A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful crew, who carried this project with us. Huge merci to our actresses Nora, Valerie and Sascha, thank you for your talent, presence and generosity. We’re excited to share more news soon. But tor now: fences are built, cameras are packed, and we are off to the editing room!

As Luxembourg was the first state to invest public funds into space mining projects years ago, Ganael’s surreal comedy is based on a surreal, but not fictional premise.
