Terima kasih kepada @maternal_disaster yang sudah mempercayakan private/business trip-nya kepada kami.
This isn’t a vacation, this is Subculture.
Record digging, bargain hunting, street food, noise, chaos, and all the beautiful mess in between.
Quickatrip bukan buat turis, ini buat kalian yang hidup di jalur alternatif.
Maternal Disaster Private Trip – Day 10
Setagaya - Narita, Japan – July 3
Kita belum selesai. Belum.
Maternal Disaster Private Trip – Day 9
Tokyo, Japan – July 2
Yeaaahhh, it’s a free day! No fixed plan, just cruising the city, hunting gifts, checking out some rad shops. But then…. boom! We hit a record store in Toshima, grabbed a few wax, and as we’re stepping out, the staff calls us back. He opens a box full of rare “Corrupted” shirts.
We look at each other, no way we’re passing this up.
Senpai, please… EMPTY THE BOX!
Maternal Disaster Private Trip – Day 8
Tokyo, Japan – July 1
Day 8, we eat like locals, not influencers. From rural grocery to greasy Italian pizza down some sketchy alley to cheap booze and salty bites at a cramped izakaya. No fancy spots, no viral bullshit. We stick to where the working class eats, because that’s where the food’s real. Cheap, loud, and damn good.
Maternal Disaster Private Trip – Day 7
Setagaya & Shibuya, Japan – June 30
Started the day digging through the backstreets of Setagaya, ended up lost in the mess of Shibuya. Cheap ramen, corner booze, sore feet, heavy bags.
Still digging. Still chasing.
All for the records. Nothing else matters.
Maternal Disaster Private Trip – Day 5 & 6
Suginami, Japan – June 28–29
One day wasn’t enough to dig through the depths of Suginami, from the legendary otaku haven of Nakano Broadway, to the buzzing weekend flea markets, and tracing the roots of the Burning Spirits movement in the very town where it was born.
Street by street. Block by block.
Only the strong survive.

Maternal Disaster Private Trip – Day 4
Chiyoda, Japan – June 27
Crate digging all damn day. Scored a Length of Time test press, first press of The MMB, and some filthy gems we didn’t even know we were hunting.
Chiyoda stays raw.. Never let us down.

Maternal Disaster Private Trip – Day 3
Saitama, Japan - June 26
Saitama turned out to be more than just a stop, it’s a prefecture we definitely didn’t want to miss.
Day 3 was all about digging deep:
Secondhand shops, vintage music and audio gear, vinyl records, books, rare apparel, and cheap food. From tucked away gems to unexpected finds, Saitama gave us a slower pace but heavier hits.
Memang seharusnya harta karun terbaik ditemukan di tempat yang jarang dikunjungi.
This isn’t a vacation, it’s a Subculture!

Maternal Disaster Private Trip – Day 2
Tokyo, Japan – June 25
Day two kicked off with jetlag, caffeine, and adrenaline. Straight from the airport to the streets, no time wasted!
First stop: hidden corners of shinjuku and setagaya, we hit some of the best spots for records, used clothing, obscure zines, and Tokyo-only gear.
This isn’t a vacation, it’s a Subculture!

Our very first journey with our fellow friends from @maternal_disaster . 10 days packed with underground digs, street shit, dirty eats, and konbini booze.
Japan, let’s get weird!
