✧ Introducing: Queer Estuaries ✧ a collective multidisciplinary project that invites all members of Houston’s Queer community to engage in collaborative artwork we have an open-call for interviews with intergenerational Queer organizers to examine the outcomes of past LGBTQ activism in Houston and consider the path ahead over the course of 2026, a community patchwork banner will be developed by event attendees and will reveal a hidden message once reassembled. Throughout this process we will compile a zine that will document these community contributions. it is our hope that this project will serve as a reminder that in an anti-LGBT state, Queer people will always belong in the South ☆ if you are interested in learning more or participating, please contact us 。*゚+ this series is brought to life with the gracious support of @theideafund
