The event celebrates queer Latinx culture (and it's vast diversity), movement, and connection through music and shared space. We welcome everyone at Queer Con Leche to tap into joy in a safe community space. We seek to uplift our community & local artists/creatives, we hope you will support our vision! What's NEW: 🔸️Additional sliding scale tier: Priority QT Black & Indigenous folk $10 🔸️Color coded wristbands to indicate to others what you may be looking for: single ready to mingle, enm/polyamorous, friends, & ask me to dance 🔸️Indoor dance performances with a mask requirement 🔸️You can now make a donation to QCL to help us sustain our event. Donations are optional and in addition to your ticket. Our values: 🔹️A reminder that we must acknowledge and uphold the blach history of these dance styles, many of us are guests to witnessing/participating this gift of music & movememnt 🔹️We are queer centered, this means deconstructing gender norms in the dance classes and the social dance floor. What you look like doesn't tell us what role you wish to take social dancing. 🔹️We seek to provide a platform/space for queer artist/creative to showcase their talents & craft 🔹️This event is mask required & provided (KF94|KN95|N95) indoors. There will also be a purifier in the space. All drinks and food must be consumed outside in our parklet, masks must be kept on at all times indoors. A warm welcome back to Kaizen Body Harmonics! A word from them: My name is Ciarrai Farias and I am a physical therapist and mobility coach. I am offering an intro to my mind/body integration sessions. I begin with an intuitive tarot reading and integrate that with sound healing and mobility exercises to support trauma release, nervous system regulation and pain management. Sessions are sliding scale/PWYC and include access to the“mobility gym,” including cupping, vibration therapy, tuning forks, grounding mats, and guided movement to help clients reconnect with their body’s innate intelligence.
