Let’s have a Kiki! On March 21st @aunclebolingo is giving a commentator online workshop to transmasc folks only! The workshop is going to be translated to Portuguese and hopefully to Spanish as well.
Auncle Bolingo is the Founder of Queer Auncles @queerauncles which is a queer
initiative helping queer Black and POC get together and build community in Brussels. Besides building community, they’re also a
multidisciplinary artist who started out as a DJ and producing music, later on became a Ballroom MC, and they recently also became a full fledged cultural curator. Bolingo’s identity speaks for itself; it is unapologetically black and queer.

”in their mother tongue, and when they get on
stage, that is also the main message that they try to convey. This can be through a plethora of “ f e el good” music, amazing and cocky raps and freestyles, community based events, etc. So be prepared to have fun when you hear their name.

While we await the online talk, let us introduce you to our first guest for this online meet up, the international vogue teacher and icon Sajuan Scott from New York:
Icon Sajuan has been apart of the Kikiscene community since 2009/2010. She has been a student, peer educator, STARS OF CHANGE intern, and a Damien Award Recipient of HMI in 2013.
Mama Sajuan has been apart of the houses of: Ja'doré, Milaga, Bangy Cunt; the youngest member and Princess of the House of Pucci, Overall Godmother of The Houses of Unbothered & Arizona, and last but not least East-Coast Mother Of The House of Old-Navy.
She was deemed Legendary for Vogue Fem Performance in 2019 and Iconic for her community work in 2024.
She's also the NYC 2023 & 2024 People’s Heart Of The Year and creator of the global vogue challenge #SajuanChallenge (check out the hashtag on TikTok and Instagram).
Part of Mama Sajuan's community work and Legacy is the platform "TheKikiScene" that she has created on Youtube and on Instagram @thekikiscene . On there she highlights Kikiscene history and promotes upcoming Kiki related events. All the content media that you see on these platforms have been (video) edited by her and her only.
She has also been conducting her own vogue workshops + Kiki lounges throughout NYC that have attracted and shaped many big personalities that we know in Ballroom today.
