Shape our history. πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ We are recruiting London-based LGBTQ+ people to take part in the Queer Global Oral Histories project. 🌍 We want to hear stories about migration, identity, belonging, and what it means to build a life in London as a queer person. We are especially keen to hear from people from global majority backgrounds and or migrant communities. Who can take part: πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ LGBTQ+ πŸ”ž Aged 18 or over πŸ“ London-based, or previously lived in London 🌍 From a global majority background and or a migrant πŸš† Able to travel to our studio in Hounslow (TW5) What is involved: 🎧 One recorded oral history interview 🏠 Interviews take place in person at our Hounslow studio πŸ’» A small number of online interviews may be offered where appropriate ⏱️ Interview length is approximately one hour What you receive: πŸͺ™ A stipend paid to you of Β£50 to cover your participation and expenses πŸ“š Your story archived at the Bishopsgate Institute πŸ“± Featured in our social content 🎬 Potential to be a main contributor to our feature-length documentary πŸ‘‰πŸ“ Register your interest via the link in bio. πŸ“© Or DM us / email [email protected] if you have any questions.
