Queens of Joy continues its journey across Europe. A special screening took place at Mathäser Filmpalast in Munich as part of Munich Kyiv Queer, followed by an online Q&A with director Olga Gibelinda. “Despite the online format, we felt a real, living connection with the audience. We experienced genuine empathy and support that truly came through the screen. We are deeply grateful to Munich for such a sensitive and warm reception of Queens of Joy,” the director shared. Queens of Joy - Official Selection 7th OFN LGBTQIA+ Film Festival London, 7–11 April A queer documentary following three Ukrainian drag artists as they hold onto identity, freedom, and community during a time of uncertainty.
