No one tells you grief can come in waves, with no time to dry off in between, I didn’t know it could feel this crowded😩 From September to November last year, I lost Uncle Ajay(he loved family greatly and taught me togetherness when he organized my first picnic with my cousins), Uncle Pastor(forever playfully hitting us, advising and reminding us that we are still children), and Aunty Wolu(my own sweetheart, my love, you could never go hungry at her place, she treated us like royalty and loved us in every way possible, I wish I knew the week before she died will be the last time I spoke to her) Death took pieces of my childhood, and my love away, each loss breaking my heart, but I kept telling myself we would move on💔 But, I didn’t know death wasn’t done😭 On the 2nd of January, 2026, I woke up to the cruelest news of my life, that my brother, Kinikachi was killed the night before, it broke me completely💔 Coming back to Lagos today was a rude reminder of what this city took from me, and I don’t know how to move on from that😩 Now I am afraid of my own house, everywhere I look, I see him, asking me to prepare food, laughing loud, gisting, planning and dreaming. I cannot stop replaying his voice notes, watching our videos, reading our messages, as though love repeated enough times could undo death😩 The hardest part is not having answers, not knowing why or how, but living with the endless what ifs🤧 Some days, I feel joy, then guilt. Some days, I search for strength or answers. And most days, I am simply trying to breathe🤍 Kiniiiiiii, I never imagined in a lifetime, we would lie you in state, plan your candlelight, your burial and with hands that were meant to hug you pour sand into your grave🤧 Rest in peace, my BABYYYYYY!!!!!!!🤍🙏🏾🕊️ Today, I am praying against untimely death in our lives and that of our families, no evil shall befall us, we will live to see our dreams come true, reap the fruit of our labor and see our children’s children!🥹🙏🏾 May your killers never find peace in this life or the next, may they suffer triple the pain they caused you and us, and may they never be opportune to ask the Almighty for forgiveness, AMENNNNN!!!!!📌🙏🏾

HAPPY NEW YEAR MY PEOPLE!☺️❤️🫶🏾 Today, makes it exactly one year and many weeks after, I started my MTF journey and I can’t help but want to take you on a ride(but time no dey, so I will replace it with my longest epistle ever😁) It’s one thing to learn and share ideas with 19 creatives and it is a whole other ball game to live with 19 creatives. I can never be able to share my entire experience and memories with the world but all I can say is 2023 will go down memory lane as THAT YEAR!📌 From the day, @only1jegz cooked great meals and made me laugh, to the day @derbbsss laughter filled the entire room and reminded me of how much fun she is, to the day @strangeenergy_ my gym partner😂made videos of me at every golden opportunity, to the day @gabrielodigiri my guyyyy🥹 legit came through for me every single time!!!! to the day @thetoribrown the flat accountant😂 came to task me, to the day @abbufrimpongruth and I went on a spontaneous date, to the day, @eniiola.z My Baby hyped me up for days, to the day @_uyi0ghosaa probed me to know if I was good, to the day @blanco_aziz literally showed me LOVE, to the day @hover_production_film cracked me up, to the day @mudiaena_ rooted for me loudly, to the day @wuradeniran came through with opportunities for me, to the day @empresstheactor was legit sweet to me, to the day @the_alpha_himself and I made a good team, to the day @iamsegunog looked out for me, to the day @elvis_damptey trusted me to be great, and to the day I enjoyed @omobolanle_jane banter while reprimanding me showing skin, and to the night, I walked the entire admiralty with my lovers @uk_leen and @ekunwe_ and the days I made lasting evergreen memories with these two amazing people that made the days, weeks and months bearable and more fun. Every last Friday of the month, from January to December, my house has quietly become a small escape from adulthood. What started as hosting a few friends has grown into something we now call Escape from Adulthood — a space where new friendships are formed, old ones have deepened, and life feels a little lighter, even if just for a weekend. Since we started, I’ve gotten to understand my friends better and it’s become one of the things I genuinely look forward to every month — the conversations, the laughter, the different personalities in the room, and @iammrzay stew. This December, while many traveled, or were swamped with work, a smaller circle gathered for Friendsgiving. Simple, intimate, and full of joy. This video is a little window into that night 🤍 Grateful for community. Grateful for home. Grateful for these moments.
