Pop Up Exhibition Terraqueous Rathlinneagh: Future Island-Oasis Queen’s University Belfast Master of Architecture (MArch) Programme Student Presentation-Discussion: 10:30am 17.02.26 Exhibition: 17.02.26 – 19.02.26 2RA Royal Avenue: Belfast BT1 1DA   Islands and lakes are lenses that reveal patterns, of how we live and our environmental limits. They provide succinct means to explore interaction and co-dependency between human and natural life. Developed within the AHRC funded Future Island-Island project Terraqueous uses impactful, sophisticated drawing and media to explore ‘ownership’; ground, water, flooding, biodiversity, risk aversion, industry and pollution, as territories for new forms of architecture and to locate the utopian oasis of Rathlinneagh. Innovative designers visualise interacting phenomena, human and natural actors that determine co-existence, ecosystems, socio- technical connections, networks and flows. Propositional design of infrastructure and space questions architecture=building and landscape=nature as bases for designing environmental futures.   Tutors: Prof Tom Jefferies: Future Cities/Architect QUB Dr Rachel O’Grady: OGU Architects/QUB   Students: Jake Brogan, Adam Crawford, Molly Deazley, Jay Doherty, Emma Farr, Eimear Kernan, Benjamin Lee, Reuben McClean, Darius Mc Colgan, Marina Morgan, Maayan Pascual Rubinstein, Caoimhe Whelehan   @qub.arch @niscifest @futureislandisland @qubnbe @oguarchitects
