This #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek, we’re proud to highlight the work our teams do in schools across Scotland. 🩵
Quarriers supports children through inclusive, positive activity sessions that encourage emotional wellbeing. Using art, play, worksheets, and games, our teams create safe spaces where children can connect, express themselves, and build confidence.

“Because we can talk about how I feel and how I’ve been doing over the past weeks. It is fun to come down telling you what I have done, and it is also fun playing the games.”

#StrokeAwarenessMonth takes place every May to raise awareness of the devastating impact of stroke. It also highlights the importance of providing vital support for stroke survivors and those who care for them.
Stroke is one of the leading causes of brain injury, and at our Brain Injury Community Support service, we support people as they adjust to life after a brain injury.
This May, we’re raising awareness and standing with everyone affected.
🎨 Our unpaid carers from our Aberdeen Carers Support Service have enjoyed some well-deserved time out over the past three weeks, taking part in creative art sessions with the fantastic Fiona Jack.
Filled with laughter, creativity and connection, these sessions have given carers the space to simply be themselves in great company. 🩵

A dry day at our Riverview service meant it was time to start preparing the garden for spring. 🌸
Jack helped to tidy up the garden and made sure there were no weeds left. He especially enjoyed getting muddy with the soil, saying “this feels soft and funny”. 🪴
Park fun in Quarriers Village 🙌
On a recent sunny day in Quarriers Village, a trip to the park was organised for Fraser, Ryan, Tanya and Kate, who are supported at our Riverview service.
Accompanied by support worker Kerry, the group enjoyed a quiet visit, with the park to themselves. Fraser, Ryan, Tanya and Kate all had a great time together, making the most of the day. 🩵
