As you know
@altecoupe is coming to #chicago this Saturday , 4.18 @📍 Hubbard Inn.
It’s only right you get familiar with your headliner.
@quantumflush — Atlanta native of Ivorian & Ghanaian descent — is a composer, producer, DJ, cellist, educator, artist, entrepreneur… truly, what can’t he do?
Flush doesn’t simply experiment with the sounds of the African diaspora , he cultivates space for emerging artists within the diaspora to explore and expand them. His work lives at the intersection of tradition and innovation.
On the album Redemption Valley by
@kwesiarthur_ , we witness the full range of Flush’s versatility. On “What They Want (Gye),” the bass guitar moves like a background vocalist — warm, intentional, almost conversational — shaping a track that feels both grounding and expansive.
And as seen (and heard) in “Okay Switch,” Flush leans into experimental minimalism: warm 808s, restrained kicks, subtle textural layering. The production creates space that allows Kwesi Arthur’s cadence to quite literally switch through the pocket with precision.
This is sonic architecture.
This is diaspora futurism.
We are honored to have Quantum Flush carry the night with us here in Chicago.
Remember , if you haven’t , follow
