Man I love my new horn! It’s called The Pure Vibe, a line of saxophone by my friend @quamonfowler 🎷 This is my first time actually buying a brand new horn that’s never been played so I’m super hyped about it! Very easy to play, great response, has a lot of power and edge and it is versatile so if you wanna do straight ahead, R&B, Funk, etc, this is the perfect horn for you! 🎷 Pure Vibe MPC: Quamon Fowler MPC #newhorn #tenorsaxophone #iplaysax #purevibe

Faith: The Kingdom Currency In this clip, I’m breaking down a concept that changed how I view my walk: **Faith is the currency of the Kingdom of God.** Just like you need dollars, euros, or yen to get things done in different countries, the Kingdom operates on a specific exchange. We often struggle trying to “earn” what we need, but we’re forgetting that Jesus already paid the ultimate price. He covered the tab so we could have free access to everything we need and even the things we desire. When I talk about receiving His gift, it’s not just a one-time thing. By walking in that faith daily, we aren’t just waiting for “somewhere over the rainbow”—we are gaining access to the abundance meant for us right now in this life, and everything waiting for us in the next. 📖 Read Hebrews 11:1 #Faith #KingdomCurrency #TheGift #WalkByFaith #Grace

Extending Arpeggios And Lines We discuss how to handle longer chord durations, specifically a two, five, one progression. We explore stretching out arpeggios using extended note sequences (1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and explain how to adapt linear lines when you have more beats to work with. We also cover techniques for transitioning smoothly to the next chord by layering arpeggios on top of linear passages. #QFowler #JazzArpeggios #ChordProgression #MusicalTechnique #JazzImprovisation

Mastering Jazz Improvisation: Combining Arpeggios, Lines, and Enclosures We discuss a practical approach to jazz improvisation by combining arpeggios, linear lines, and enclosures to navigate chord changes. I explain how practicing these techniques together on standards like All the Things You Are helps develop finger familiarity with different shapes and degrees, allowing you to fluidly transition between chords using various melodic approaches. #JazzImprovisation #JazzGuitar #Arpeggios #LinearLines #JazzPractice

It was a pleasure to connect with fellow saxophonist Mike Alexander and discuss why your social media is more than just a page—it's your online resume. 🎷💼 We talked about how talent is just the starting point. To truly grow, you have to treat your presence with intention: focusing on engagement, clear communication, and building real relationships. Whether it's one DM or joining a mentorship program, every connection counts. Don't miss out on the chance to elevate your craft and your brand. 📈 #QFowler #Saxophonist #MikeAlexander #SocialMediaForMusicians #MusicMentorship

Building Your Music Brand: From Talent to Opportunity Success in this industry is about more than just the notes you play; it’s about the brand you build. 🎷🎺 I had a great conversation with fellow saxophonist Mike Alexander about my journey—from 23 years on the trumpet and nearly a decade on the sax to finally cracking the code on the business side. We dive into how I went from struggling to find my footing to landing sponsorships, gigs, and major collaborations. Talent gets you in the room, but your brand is what keeps you there. #MikeAlexander #Saxophonist #QFowler #MusicMarketing #MusicianLife
