I sent my drone up expecting the usual city views… but what it captured surprised me. From Ebute to Baiyeku, water stretches across places you wouldn’t even realize are this close to the lagoon.
Growing up, a lot of us see Ikorodu as just another busy part of Lagos—but from above, it tells a completely different story. Calm waters, hidden shorelines, and communities living right on the edge of it all.
This is why I love flying my drone… it shows you perspectives your eyes on the ground can’t see.

Today, my drone flew over the Ikorodu Eid praying ground — a place filled with faith, unity, and thousands of people gathered in devotion. But for me, it was more than just a beautiful aerial shot… it was personal.
Watching from the sky brought back memories of when I used to stand on that same ground, shoulder to shoulder with others, sharing in the moment. Life has taken me on a different path since then, but moments like this remind me of where I’ve been and how far I’ve come.
