Q-Side is a skateboarding community project on NW 3rd and Flanders in Old Town Chinatown, Portland, OR. It’s a canvas for anyone and everyone that wants to roll on or be a part of some concrete built by skateboarders.
The generous volunteers that have contributed their time, hard work, money, and materials have shown how quickly we can make it a fun place to be. Q’s is now reaching out to anyone that would like to share some support so we can continue to create more and turn the corner into a rad zone. Throw in a buck and chuck a grind because we can.

@qside_pdx it’s almost ready to add a bunch of new stuff to skate! Will be making a post before we have a concrete day. Feel free to grab a shovel in a few bags and come down and help out. We’ll be barbecuing skating and jommin’ tunes. Contributions are welcome! There’s a GoFundMe and Venmo to pitch crete $$$ and also concrete bags can be dropped off at Rip’s Co. Skateshop. Check @ripspdx page for opening hours. Those Rip’s folk are always out skating so double check that they’re open on their story.

Wednesday May 13th @calsk8 and @ripspdx are teaming up with @thereskateboards for a little skate jam at our local @qside_pdx DIY. After this short rip at Q we will be playing the new part from @lau_willems_ at Cal Skate and @como.la.flor.tattoo will be offering up affordable skateboard flash tattoo’s next door.
