Shibari is the Japanese art of rope, where restraint becomes expression and connection takes shape through intention.
To me, it is more than the ties. It is built on trust, communication, consent, and care. The beauty lives not just in the rope, but in the energy and meaning held within it.

Im still learning the ways of the rope, join me at a @kteventshtx class hosted at @hausofelectriclove on Saturdays! Every time I go, the more confident I get with learning shibari. Most of my experience is from a pain POV, it is really interesting to learn the design portion to rigging.

I wanted to showcase shibari and movement during this set, and I couldn't have asked for a better model than our very own Latina Burlesque Performer Anahi 🔥 follow her & go see her next show!
I am very much still learning rope from a design POV vs pain, and I wanted to show strength pushing through the restrictions that keep us still. I think we definitely were able to capture the dance between structure and the power of free will.
