“SAD” is genuine parts of my heart, being honest with my creator, about how I’ve felt used, thrown away at a whim, lied to, and broken.… With no regard for how it would affect me people who I thought cared truly for me. Being open and candid about it with God in front of people is my way of showing how beautiful a relationship with Christ can be to be able to go to him, when there’s nobody else to turn to because everyone else treats you outside of your value. Which honestly I feel is needed inside of the Christian hip-hop or rap or alt adjacent scene.

Being a musical artist is one of the strangest things ever because to artistically put how you’re feeling or have been feeling into words let alone melodies that people can listen to is weird…
Having your REAL FEELINGS attached to songs that people can interpret from themselves throw it away after 10 seconds of deciding it’s trash or keep it close to their heart so much that they listen to it for the rest of their lives is just an odd field to be in.
I’m pretty honest about my depression, the battle against it, and don’t divulge a lot about my personal relationships on social media, but I think as I’ve entered this new stage in life at least in song form it’s time to walk you through it.

Well. This is why…
Some of my fellow Christians tend to make statements like this towards anyone who’s actively speaking to or towards their vices or issues in song.
I think most of it has to do with “hype” music being a major stable inside of the CHH genre… I am very appreciative to have kept going long enough to see and be part of the change that’s happening inside of it atm.
Most of my influences trail blazed the honesty/creativity that’s part of it today.
The question in slide 1 was actually asked of me several times in my DM‘s concerning the last post I argue and challenge by saying it’s not at all what I’m doing. I’m bringing what has been making me so down to the father and laying it at his feet because he does in fact care about even our little interactions that make a major impact on our emotions.
And for those who need scripture to back it up or we come loaded. 🫡😂

A moment of honesty with you:
I’ve never liked how Christians or Christian art seems to not be as candid as those who don’t subscribe usually are…..because as Christians we tend to try and pretend everything’s ok when it’s not.
Likewise I didn’t like how there wasn’t songs in the CHH genre that spoke honestly, times have changed but still speaking abt relationships is a little taboo….when things don’t work out it’s not always pretty.
I’m abt to let you in on my talk with God abt potential that went down in flames and how that affected me.
