So excited for a recital tonight at the @worldchesshof in St Louis with @qblache and @brianwoodspianist —a concert 18 months in the making, celebrating the relationship between music and chess, two of our biggest passions.
In addition to two brilliant world premiere works by Quenton Blache that are directly inspired by chess, we are playing the fourth movement of Menotti’s Suite for Two Cellos and piano, which feels as exhilarating to play as the final minutes of a blitz time scramble!
