"Death to America' is a historic political slogan & chant which originated in reaction to the U.S. Government's foreign policy and military actions overseas.
Its a symbolic expression of opposition to US imperialism and hegemonic policies rather than being a literal call for the destruction of the American populace. It means death to American policies and an end to American arrogance.
(context) The U.S. bombed Venezuela last night and kidnapped their president Nicholás Maduro. This is regime change & resource extraction. This is all to get US hands on Venezuela’s Oil.
The United States is belligerent & must be stopped.
The United States Empire has over 750 military bases in over 80 countries across the globe. We must put an end to U.S. Imperialism aka ‘Death to America’.

💔MOVE DAY OF REMEMBRANCE
May 13th is the official ‘MOVE Day of Remembrance’ to honor the lives taken in 1985 when Police bombed MOVE in their row home, killing 11 people including 5 children.
As MLK said during the eulogy of the girls killed in the bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham “These children — unoffending, innocent and beautiful — were the victims of one of the most vicious and tragic crimes ever perpetrated against humanity. …. and so this afternoon in a real sense they have something to say to each of us in their death. … They have something to say to everyone who has passively accepted this evil system….who has stood on the sidelines in a mighty struggle for justice. They say to us that we must be concerned not merely with who murdered them, but about the system, the way of life, the philosophy which produced the murderers.”
This System does not respect any form of life.
From MOVE to Minab, this system must be stopped.

On May 1st, 2026, thousands of workers in Philadelphia rallied and marched to celebrate May Day, a day to highlight workers’ lives and struggles. Six members of Movement Photographers of Philadelphia documented the event:

This selection of photographs does more than exhibit the work of the people behind the camera. It also displays some of the disparate elements involved in a diverse movement of people trying to change a society that undervalues their work, lives, and humanity.
