Last year, a talented group of designers gathered together and shared their unique design experiences during the 2025 #FigmaSlidesParty. Richard started us off on a good note as he talked about how weâre currently in a golden age of design. Weâve had a couple of spicy talks: from Birdie Salvaâs erotic boardgame design: Happy Endings, to Trickâs experiences in relating UX to his dating life, and Katsyâs hotter alternatives to her 5 specific UX icks.
Weâve also had speakers discuss their niche interests: Juelle in UI for videogames, Chi and design accessibility, Seanâs experiences in UI/UX and 3D printing, and Jelvinâs presentation on web typography. Finally, Jules sent us off with a fun session and reflection on our role as UX designers in a world where very little people understand exactly what it is that we do đ
Weâre doing it again this year! Slots for spectators are already filled, but you can still sign up as a presenter! Few slots left đ

Love talking about design? Got some cool works-in-progress youâre keen to show off? Have a weirdly specific improv performance that only designers will understand? Or maybe you just want to yap about what you think the future of UI and UX looks like? Weâve got the event for you! â¨

New innovations in Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT-4 are set to radically change the way we think and work with technology, products, and interfaces. Currently, much debate is being done around how AI technologies can potentially drive down the cost of building products.
For a country where organizations from the West historically come to outsource design & engineering at a lower cost, we ask: What does this mean for Filipino web designers, engineers, and technologists?
The Philippine Web Designers Organization is BACK after a three-year hiatus! đ¤ŠđĽł
Join us this April 1, 2023 from 4PM to 5PM PHT LIVE on our Facebook page as we have an intimate panel discussion about AI in the Philippine Design Industry.
Panelists:
Mika Aldaba - Senior Consultant and Data Science ESG Lead @ EY
Toni-Jan Keith Monserrat - CTO @ Senti AI and Google Developer Expert for Web Technologies
Niaw de Leon - Principal Consultant @ Cognible
Note: GPT-4 was used to iterate on the title of this meetup.
