When life feels overwhelming and the heart longs for peace, Sundarkand becomes more than a paath. It becomes strength for the soul.
Every verse carries the devotion of Shri Hanumanji and the grace of Prabhu Shri Ram. A path of courage, surrender, and unwavering bhakti that reminds us that faith can guide us through even the darkest moments. Vishwaas hi shakti hai.
We wanted to bring that same devotion into something you could hold.
Pushpam’s Sunderkand is made from flowers once offered at the feet of Hanumanji in temples across India. Flowers that carried prayer, that held someone’s hope and now gently transformed, so that devotion doesn’t end at the temple door.
It comes home with you. 🪔🌸

Wednesday Goals:
SDG 12: Responsible Consumption & Production
As part of our Wednesday series on the UNSDGs Pushpam contributes to through real action and impact, this week is about rethinking waste.
At Pushpam, temple waste is transformed into products designed to last, not to be discarded again.
Every creation repurposes over 400 grams of waste into 100% recyclable composites, giving materials a longer, more meaningful life cycle.
Because responsible consumption begins with creating consciously, and producing with purpose.

Packaging Diaries Part 2: Hanumanji Collection
Not every form of strength arrives loudly.
Some are carried quietly, through faith that never wavers.
Inspired by the expressive storytelling of Madhubani art, the Hanumanji Collection was designed to reflect movement, courage, and devotion in every detail. From the flowing illustrations to the carefully built structure of the box, every element carries a sense of purpose.
As you move through the packaging, it slowly unfolds the journey behind Pushpam, the transformation of temple flowers, the hands involved in crafting each creation, and the intention with which it is made and meant to be preserved.
This collection was never designed to be just packaging around a product.
It was created to feel like a part of the offering itself.
A reminder of bhakti that is fearless.
Steady.
And always present.

The Packaging Diaries: Part 1
There is something sacred about the way devotion finds form. Not just in the prayer, not just in the offering, but in everything that surrounds it. The Shrinathji Collection was built in that belief. Inspired by the timeless beauty of Pichhwai art, every side of this box is designed with intention. It carries the story of women artisans whose hands bring meaning to every detail. It tells you where the flowers come from, how they are transformed, and the journey they take before they reach you. Nothing on this box is accidental. Every word, every color, every element is placed with the same care and devotion that goes into the product itself. Because at Pushpam, we believe the experience of devotion should begin the moment you hold it in your hands. And it starts with the packaging.

Wednesday Goals:
SDG 13: Climate Action
At Pushpam, every product is created with intention,
chemical-free, low-energy, and thoughtfully handmade from materials that would otherwise end up in landfills.
By diverting waste and giving it a second life,
we help prevent an estimated 56 metric tonnes of CO₂ emissions this financial year.
Because climate action is not always loud.
Sometimes, it begins with the choices we make every day.

Our scriptures repeatedly remind us that what is offered with devotion is accepted by the Divine and returned with sanctity.
One of the most beautiful references comes from the Bhagavad Gita 9.26:
“पत्रं पुष्पं फलं तोयं यो मे भक्त्या प्रयच्छति।
तदहं भक्त्युपहृतम् अश्नामि प्रयतात्मनः॥”
“Whoever offers Me with devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit, or water, I accept that loving offering from the pure-hearted.”
Another important verse from the Bhagavad Gita 3.13 says:
“यज्ञशिष्टाशिनः सन्तो मुच्यन्ते सर्वकिल्बिषैः।”
“Those who partake of what remains after offering to the Divine are purified.”
This principle is deeply embedded in Sanatan Dharma:
An offering accepted by the Divine is not discarded material, it carries bhakti, intention, and spiritual value.
Yet ironically, millions of kilograms of temple flowers are still referred to as “flower waste.”
At Pushpam, we consciously chose to change this language.
We DO NOT call them FLOWER WASTE.
We do not even call them discarded offerings.
We CALL them PRASAAD.
Because language shapes behaviour.
And behaviour shapes systems.
The moment we call something waste, society disconnects from its true value.
But when we recognise it as Prasaad, we begin treating it with reverence it actually carries.
This shift is not just emotional or spiritual.
It changes how circular economy itself is designed.
At Pushpam, this Prasaad is respectfully transformed into durable biomaterials, sacred memorabilia, decor, and products that continue carrying the story of devotion instead of ending up polluting rivers and landfills.
For us, sustainability is not only environmental.
It is also cultural.
It is about creating systems where spirituality and circularity coexist with dignity.
Because Prasaad should never become pollution.
It should continue its journey with respect.

Some creations are not made in one moment…
they are shaped by time, tradition, and the hands that honour them.
From the storytelling legacy of “Kalamkari” in Andhra Pradesh,
where every line once carried devotion and meaning,
an artist reimagines Ganesha with quiet detail and grace.
From the expressive world of “Kalighat art”
born around the sacred Kalighat Temple in Kolkata,
another artist brings Devi to life ; bold, fluid, and full of presence.
Two art forms.
Two artists.
Two distinct expressions of the divine.
And then… it transforms.
What they created is not just preserved as art,
but handcrafted from flowers once offered in temples,
carrying within them someone’s shraddha, someone’s prayer.
So this is not just a product you see.
It is where art, artist, and devotion come together,
to become something you can keep close… every single day. ✨
Today is for the hands that don’t just work…
they create. 🌼
Every piece you see carries more than effort,
it carries stories, devotion, and quiet strength.
From morning to evening,
Hands that gently pick flowers once offered to God,
hands that clean, shape, and transform them
with so much care, giving them a second life…
this is not just a process,
it is devotion.
These hands don’t complain,
they simply show up every day
with honesty, patience, and quiet strength.
And maybe that’s why
every Pushpam piece holds a certain warmth you can feel.
These are not just workers to us.
They are the heart of Pushpam.
They are the reason our purpose feels real.
Today, we don’t just celebrate,
we express gratitude.
Because behind everything we create,
there are people who put a piece of themselves into it…
every single day.🤍
Happy Labour Day.
Wednesday Goals:
SDG 15 : Life on Land
What’s left behind on our shores doesn’t just disappear.
It stays, quietly affecting the land around it.
At Pushpam, we choose to collect what’s left behind,
to give it another meaningful purpose.
Because caring for the land
often begins with what we refuse to leave behind.
#sdg15 #unsdgs #unsdggoals #pushpam #land
At Pushpam, we believe some journeys deserve to be held onto… not just remembered.
For Safr, every retreat is a deeply personal experience. A coming together of women, of stories, of stillness, of rediscovering parts of yourself that often get lost in everyday life.
We were honoured to create these keepsakes for that journey.
Handcrafted from flowers that were once part of the same space, these magnets carry the energy of those shared moments, conversations, and quiet transformations, now shaped into something you can take back with you.
A small piece, for your everyday.
To remind you of how you felt.
Of who you were, when you were fully present.
Because some journeys are not meant to end.
They are meant to stay with you… gently, every day
