PSA: We now accept ESA!
For students of ours that favor alternative approaches to education, Empowerment Scholarship Accounts can be a very helpful means of funding educational services. We are now an ESA Vendor and can accept ESA funds!
After compiling our first two quarters of parent and student feedback, one consistent request was packaged sessions. So here we are! Packages of sessions now available!
Shout out to all that have contributed feedback thus far! The support (and input) is greatly appreciated! 🙏
That’s a wrap for our Skate 101 elective! Congrats to some of our Skate 101 students graduating their 8th grade year next week! 🙌
May the next step of your educational journey take you to new heights of learning! 🎓📚📓
Join us on June 13th from 11AM–1PM at Ryan Buss Skate Zone Park as we celebrate McHenry’s own Miles Canevello — a professional skateboard instructor who’s built an incredible community both on and off the board.
Through his nonprofit, Push Forward, Miles is inspiring the next generation to keep moving, stay motivated, and chase their passions.
Come hear his story, connect with the community, and then hit the park — because yes… you’ll get the chance to skate with him, too.
See you at the park!🛹

The goal of our Pre-Summer Skate Club is for learners to access movement, creativity, a new peer group, and utilization of a new skate space prior to Summer Break.
Come skate with us before the school year ends!

Note: All students are encouraged to finish their homework before attending our weeknight sessions!

Can’t wait to see who sticks the truck toss next year!
We’re halfway through our second 4-week session of Skateboard Explorers and these 3 year olds / 4-5 year olds are beginning to demonstrate comfort and confidence in using their skateboards!
Thanks to our Exploration facilitators @smiles_canajello@kayteemay and @developing_minds_academy for providing an environment to explore skateboarding!
It’s amazing to be a part of these young ones’ development as skateboarders!
Excited to be providing the students of Chandler Unified School District an opportunity to practice skateboarding skills after school this Spring semester!
We’re only on day 2 and these learners are already growing an appetite for more skating!
