Breast reduction surgery is often described as cosmetic, but for many patients it’s much more than that. This is one of the operations where the physical impact can be significant. Neck pain, shoulder pain, back discomfort, skin irritation, difficulty exercising, problems with clothing and the general weight of the breast can all affect day-to-day life. That doesn’t mean it’s a simple decision. There are still important things to understand, especially around scarring, sensation, breastfeeding, recovery and risk. It’s not weight loss surgery, and it’s not a minor procedure. It’s a proper operation that needs proper planning. But when it’s right for the patient, it can be genuinely life-changing. The key is getting clear, honest advice from a fully qualified plastic surgeon who can assess you properly, explain what’s realistic, and help you understand both the benefits and the limitations before making a decision. Want to learn more about the options? Send us a message here and we’ll be happy to guide you or tap the link in our bio to book a consultation in clinic 💌

"You look tired." If you're hearing that a lot, your under-eyes might be telling a different story to how you actually feel 👇🏼 This is a lower blepharoplasty performed by Ms Nora Nugent, and the result speaks for itself. The puffiness, the shadowing, the heaviness beneath the eyes - gone. What's left is a version of this patient that finally reflects how she actually feels. Lower blepharoplasty is one of those procedures that people often put off, either because they're not sure it's "enough" of a concern to address surgically, or because they assume the recovery will be more disruptive than it actually is. But for patients who are bothered by persistent under-eye bags, it's consistently one of the highest satisfaction procedures we perform. And the benefits go further than most people realise. Beyond the cosmetic change, improving the under-eye area can enhance visual fields, reduce the forehead tension that contributes to headaches, and make a meaningful difference to how someone feels about themselves day to day. That last one is something our patients tell us about again and again. The procedure itself takes one to two hours under general anaesthetic. Recovery requires around two weeks away from work, with a return to exercise at six weeks. It's manageable, and for most patients, completely worth it. If you're considering a blepharoplasty procedure and want to understand what's possible for you specifically, tap the link in our bio to book a consultation with our expert team, or send us a message, and we'll be happy to help 💌

Breast lift and breast implants are not interchangeable. This is one of the most common things patients ask about, but the answer depends entirely on what we’re trying to correct. Implants are mainly about volume. They can improve fullness, shape and upper pole support, especially if the breast has lost volume after weight loss, pregnancy, or ageing. A breast lift does something different entirely. It repositions the nipple, removes excess skin, and tightens the breast envelope so the breast sits higher and looks more supported. Sometimes one is enough. Sometimes the best result comes from combining both, especially when there is volume loss and skin laxity together. That’s why a proper consultation matters. The goal is not to choose the procedure that sounds best, it’s to understand what your breast actually needs to get the most natural, balanced, and long-lasting result. So, you're thinking about a tummy tuck. Here's what you actually need to know before you take the next step... It's one of the most commonly searched procedures, and also one of the most misunderstood. A lot of people come to us having done hours of research online and still feeling unsure about whether it's right for them, what it actually involves, or whether they're even a good candidate. An abdominoplasty isn't a shortcut, and it isn't a substitute for a healthy lifestyle. It's a body contouring procedure designed for people who've already done the work, but whose bodies aren't reflecting that. Loose skin, separated muscles, a persistent lower abdominal bulge that no amount of core work will shift. These are structural changes, and surgery is often the only thing that genuinely addresses them. What matters just as much as the procedure itself is who's performing it, and how well supported you are before, during, and after. At Purity Bridge, every abdominoplasty is performed by a fully accredited Consultant Plastic Surgeon who holds or has held an NHS Consultant post. Your aftercare is structured, science-led, and we're with you every step of the way. If you've been sitting with this question for a while and you're ready to have a proper, no-pressure conversation about whether it's right for you, we'd love to help. Tap the link in our bio to book your consultation, or drop us a message and we'll be happy to talk it through 💌

Lip flip and lip filler are not the same thing, and choosing the right one depends on what you’re actually trying to improve 👄 This is where a lot of people get confused. Lip filler is about adding shape, definition, structure or volume using hyaluronic acid. Done well, it can look incredibly natural, but it still involves placing product into the lip. A lip flip works differently. It uses a tiny amount of neuromodulator to relax the muscle around the upper lip. This can soften that pursing movement, help with fine vertical lip lines, and gently roll the upper lip out so it appears slightly more visible without actually adding volume. So if your concern is shape, balance or lost volume, filler may be the better option. If your concern is that your top lip disappears when you smile, or you’re starting to notice those fine lines around the mouth, a lip flip might make more sense. They do different jobs, and the best result comes from choosing the treatment that matches your anatomy, your movement and the outcome you want. Natural lips are always the goal. The treatment is just the tool we choose to get there 💉

Introducing Miss Ana Borges, and we couldn't be more proud to welcome her to the Purity Bridge team 👇🏼 When you're considering surgery, the surgeon matters more than almost anything else. Their training, their clinical environment, their judgement, their philosophy. All of it shapes your outcome. Ana brings something genuinely rare. She's a Consultant Plastic Surgeon operating at one of the most demanding levels in her specialty, performing complex reconstructive work at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and King's College Hospital every single day. In her private practice, she focuses on breast surgery and body contouring, guided by one clear principle: what's right for the individual patient in front of her. Not a template. Not a trend. Just thoughtful, expert, personalised care. She's also a teacher, a researcher, and a published academic. Which means she's not just practising surgery, she's actively contributing to where the specialty is heading. If you've been thinking about breast surgery or body contouring and you want to feel genuinely confident in the person guiding you, we'd love to introduce you to Ana properly. The procedures we’d be most cautious about ourselves as surgeons are usually the ones that push the body or face away from its natural anatomy. That’s where people need to be careful. Good cosmetic surgery should enhance, restore or refine. It should make someone look fresher, more balanced, or more in proportion, but it shouldn’t leave them looking like a different person. The problem with very trend-led procedures is that they often look appealing in the short term, especially online. But surgery has to be judged over years, not weeks. How will it age? How will it move? What risks does it carry? And will it still suit that person when the trend has moved on? Those are the questions that matter. For us, the best results are always the ones that respect the patient’s own anatomy. They look natural because they work with what’s already there, not against it. That’s where long-term judgement is just as important as surgical skill!

This is what a deep plane facelift and deep neck lift can do... What you're seeing here isn't just a cosmetic change. It's the outcome of a six-hour procedure performed by Mr Marc Pacifico that addressed multiple structural concerns at once: sagging facial and neck tissues, separated neck muscles, changes in facial volume, sun-damaged skin, enlarged submandibular glands, and the deeper tissue changes that come with menopause. That's the difference between a surface-level treatment and surgery that works at the level where the real changes are happening. A deep plane facelift goes beyond the skin. It releases and repositions the deeper layers of facial tissue, which is what creates a result that looks genuinely natural rather than pulled or overdone. Combined with a deep neck lift, the overall facial balance is restored in a way that simply isn't achievable with injectables alone, however good the clinician. It's a significant procedure. General anaesthetic, around six hours in theatre, and a recovery that requires at least two weeks away from work and three before you'd consider a social event. That's honest, and we think it's important to say it clearly. But for the right patient, the impact goes far beyond appearance. Improved confidence, better psychosocial wellbeing, and finally looking on the outside the way you feel on the inside - these are real, meaningful outcomes that our patients tell us change their lives. If you’re in your 40s, the biggest changes usually aren’t lines - they’re structural. This is where a lot of treatment plans miss the mark. Focusing on one area or one concern, when what’s actually happening is a combination of muscle movement, volume loss, and changes in skin quality all at once. That’s why the results that look natural tend to come from a more combined approach. Softening where there’s excess movement, supporting areas that have lost volume, and improving the quality of the skin so everything sits better together. When those elements are balanced properly, the face looks fresher without looking different. It’s not about doing everything, it’s about choosing the right treatments for the right reasons, and making sure they work together rather than in isolation. That’s what creates results that still look like you, just more rested, more supported, and more in proportion. Want to understand what’s right for your concerns? Not all impactful treatments are the ones you hear about the most. In fact, some of the procedures that make the biggest difference are often the ones people don’t initially consider. The ones that don’t look dramatic on paper, but change how you look and feel in a really meaningful way. It’s usually those subtle shifts, the ones that restore balance rather than transform, that patients end up valuing the most. If you’ve been thinking about treatment but aren’t sure where to start, understanding these often-overlooked options can be a really helpful place to begin 👉🏼 If something resonates, we’re here to guide you through what might be right for you- visit the link in our bio to book your consultation 💌

Most women have some degree of breast asymmetry. It’s far more common than people realise, and far more treatable than most people know. For a lot of women, it’s something they’ve been quietly aware of for years. Managing it with certain bras, avoiding certain clothes, feeling self-conscious in situations where it becomes more noticeable. It’s one of those concerns that sits in the background but has a real impact on confidence and how comfortable you feel in your own body. What a lot of people don’t know is that the right approach depends entirely on what’s causing the asymmetry and how significant the difference is. There isn’t one solution that fits everyone, and getting the assessment right at the start is what determines the outcome. For moderate volume differences, using your own fat through liposuction and fat grafting is a really elegant option that avoids implants entirely. For more significant discrepancies or shape concerns, a lift or implant may be the better route. Often it’s a combination. If this is something you’ve been thinking about and you want an honest conversation about your options, head to the link in our bio to book a consultation in the clinic 💌

After pregnancy, you can get back to your routine - eating well, exercising, doing everything “right” - and still notice changes that don’t shift. Skin that feels looser, a core that feels weaker, or breasts that don’t quite look or feel the same, and it’s not about effort; it’s about how the body has adapted. A mummy makeover isn’t about going backwards or undoing what your body has done. It’s about understanding those changes and, if you choose to, supporting your body in a way that helps you feel more like yourself again. If you’ve been thinking about it but aren’t sure what it actually involves or whether it’s right for you, that’s exactly what a consultation is for. Visit the link in our bio to book yours and explore your options in a way that feels informed, personal and completely pressure-free 💌
